Hex Dominant Parametric mesh fails in MRF case

Hi everyone,

In this project I am trying to simulate the flow of a fan in a room.

However the Hex Dominant Parametric mesh that I am trying to generate fails.
The mesh that I want to generate is in “Incompressible” simulation and it is named “01 Mesh”.

Could anyone help me with this?

Hi Miltos, thank you for using the forum!
Can you try switching the the standard mesher instead? You can use the default settings as a start :smiley:

Yes, I tried the standard mesher and it worked.
I also run the simulation and the results seem rather logical.

However I prefer using the Hex Dominant Parametric mesh.
So if there is still any idea about why it fails, it would be helpful.

I am happy to hear that this worked :smiley:

Unfortunately this happens from time to time with the Hex dominant mesher and there is no workaround, so when you see this error, it is suggested you switch to the Standard mesher.
