I’m trying to model a wall assembly to check insulation values achieved. Its a curtain wall system of materials from insulation/steel/aluminium etc.
I’ve connected the surfaces and added a temperature curve to the volume of air in contact with the build up. There seems to be no transfer.
Any assistance would be appreciated.

The problem here is the contact definition. If you check the contacts, they are all problematic (e.g. assignments missing, etc.):
Generally speaking, I would recommend:
- Making sure that the faces between the volumes are touching perfectly (i.e. no overlaps, no gaps)
- Exporting this geometry from Rhino as a .step instead of .3dm
- Running an Imprint operation before creating a heat transfer simulation
If you follow these steps, the contacts will be recognized automatically, without you having to set them up.
