This Double Girder Gantry Crane Analysis was created to demonstrate various techniques used to **simplify a geometry for simulation** and to demonstrate the use of **elastic elements to stabilize members** where “physical contacts” are used.

If you are interested to learn more about this topic, @BenLewis will be hosting a webinar ‘[Preparing a Geometry for Simulation with Custom Machines and SimScale](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AzV0hqA8LIg&ab_channel=SimScale)’ on July 12th.
