I think you are trying to perform a conjugate heat transfer (CHT) simulation. There are certain geometry and mesh prerequisites to setup a CHT simualtion. The geometry should contain the solid and fluid regions as independent volumes which are non-overlapping, but the surfaces touching each other. This would enable to create interfaces between the different regions. Please have a look at the following project for a model geometry for CHT. A trial mesh is also done on the geometry.

For a CHT simulation the Hex-dominant parametric mesh needs to be selected maintaining TRUE option for “Create multiregion mesh”. This enables us to setup a CHT simulation. The following tutorials might help you to create the mesh and setup the simulation successfully.
