Buoyancy due to both CO2 concentration and air temperature

Dear All,
I want to simulate the co2 concentration for a single sided naturally ventilated class room (Outdoor Temp = 5 celcius and Indoor Temp = 22 celcius). The problem is that most of available cfd programs simulate co2 distribution at constant temperature. What I want in this project is to simulate co2 distribution with changing temperature and heat convection. Is this available in simscale ?

Hi Karim, this is Fillia, welcome to the forum! Feel free to write and reply in posts

This sounds like a transient convective heat transfer analysis with a volumetric passive scalar, have a look at the following pages and let me know if that is what you are looking for:

Hi Fillia,
Thanks very much for your fast reply :grinning:. At this topic in 2017 : Passive scalar transport with buoyancy driven flow
it is stated that passive scalar with convective heat transfer wasn’t developed yet. Is it available in the current version ?

It is possible now
