True to scale geometry used.

Auto snappyHexMesh for external flow. Problems encountered with anything higher than level 1 meshing.

I just copied your project and created a “New Auto SnappyHex Mesh” with “level-3 Moderate” fineness and there were no problems. Could you be precise what happened in your case ?

Please try again by creating a New “Auto SnappyHex Mesh” with “level-3 Moderate” fineness with 16 processors.

Let me know if you still have issues.


Also, Your geometry is a highly detailed, I would suggest that you simplify it to remove non-important things like the roof antenna, wind screen wipers , other small parts etc, if possible.

Other wise try a Manual “SnappyHexMesh” with full control over refinements ,

Thanks for taking a look at this simulation Ali, was just using the comment section to keep notes on this project. Didn’t expect anyone to respond. :yum:

Anyway, I will give both the level-3 moderate a try and manual meshing refinements a try as well.
