Air circulation in a room

I have made a CAD drawing in Solidworks showing the internal dimensions of a room (hollow room. Inside the room there are furniture items, Bed, Draws, Lamp and a PIPE.
I would like to determine the air turbulence inside the room for different CFM traveling through the pipe. I need to see what the air movement is inside the room for different placements inside the room.

Questions:

  1. Is a Solidworks Hollow room acceptable and what File type is required.
  2. Is there a typical Template for something like this.

Hi there, and thanks for using the forum!

I would need a little more information to give precise indications, but here are some resources that might help you answer your questions:

A solid model performed in Solidworks should be able to be imported in your project directly, as you can see in this page:

If I guess correctly, you are trying to perform a Conjugate Heat Transfer simulation, so that you can see the effect of the flow inside the pipe on to the room? Otherwise, how could this work?

I suggest you to check out our tutorials, there you should find the one most similar to your case:
