ahmedBody mesh for OpenFOAM

Hello,

I generated a mesh for Ahmed body in simscale and exported that to OpenFOAM. When I run the simulation, the results look good. But when I check the file - constant/polyMesh/boundary - I can see just 3 patches which is half the Ahmed body. This is giving me wrong results when I calculate the force coefficients. Am I missing something here or is there some way to fix this?

Hi @mhatwar!

Did not have a close look at it but could it be that the bounding box cuts the Ahmed body into halves? If so then another simulation with the whole Ahmed body would give you the whole geometry in the OF folder. I would just try to increase the bounding box/domain size to capture the whole vehicle and then see if it does the same thing again, which I doubt.
