Looking to advance your career? You’ve come to the right place.
Our mission is to empower engineers, designers, and scientists around the world to develop their products better, faster, and more cost-efficiently.
SimScale is a cloud-based engineering simulation platform that is revolutionizing the way designers and engineers create products. The platform is accessible via a standard web browser, harnessing the power of the cloud and cutting-edge simulation technology to build something more than just another simulation software. SimScale is an ecosystem in which simulation functionality, content, and people are brought together in one place to build better products.
A word from Vincenz Dölle, SimScale’s Co-Founder and Managing Director:
“We’re building a CAE platform and community—basically, a whole ecosystem—to help every engineer in the world build better products. Beyond simulation, we want to build a community of engineers who can connect with each other and exchange knowledge.
We’re looking for people who are passionate about our product, who want to be part of a team, work towards a goal, build something, create value for customers, and see their results shipped!”
Founded in 2012 in Munich, Germany, SimScale is comprised of a talented team of engineers, computer scientists, and mathematicians who are dedicated to making simulation technology accessible to everyone. Learn why and how to join us and make SimScale the next step in your career!
The team’s main goal is to be always aware of our customers’ demands and needs. We strive to ensure they are completely satisfied with our offerings. Based on this mission, and taking new technological possibilities into account, we own, maintain, and develop the product vision at SimScale.
The Simulation Engineering team is responsible for those parts of the SimScale simulation platform which directly relate to mechanical engineering: computer-aided design, mesh, simulation, pre-processing, and post-processing. The team’s goal is to provide our customers and users with all the simulation features they need and ensure the tools we provide are well tested and stable. Our Simulation Engineers have diverse backgrounds in Mechanical Engineering, Physics, and Mathematics, and possess extensive skills and experience with programming languages and software development (C++, Python, etc.)
SimScale’s Platform Engineering team is responsible for the software architecture, infrastructure, backend, and frontend, working together to deliver simulation to engineers around the world. That means continuously developing the user interface to makes it easy to specify and run complex simulations. We solve interesting and non-obvious challenges stemming from the interdisciplinary nature of our product. If you have experience with software development tools and RESTful cloud services, and have excellent knowledge of Linux, we are looking for you!
The Sales team focuses on international Business Development and Sales operations. We believe that we have the technology and usability that will help change the engineering work process of tomorrow. The Application Engineers are working closely together with the Sales team, engaging our current and potential users to show them the possibilities that our product can bring and how we together can optimize their product development process.
The aim of the QA department is to prevent any issues that customers may face with SimScale. Using the simulation platform from the users’ perspective, thinking as them and understanding their experience, we detect potential problems and help to improve the features. We are using our expertise to provide high product quality for our users.
The Marketing and Community team is shaping the voice of the product through the company website, social media, blogs, forum, and visual language. We are responsible for driving brand awareness, traffic, and attracting new customers and community members to SimScale.
We are a fast-growing software company and are always looking to expand our international team. SimScale’s jobs portal has a variety of full-time job opportunities, internships, and part-time student jobs with flexible working hours across all departments. We are looking for people with a variety of skills in the areas of mechanical engineering, civil engineering, software development, IT and so on while offering continuous career growth from day one. For more information on our recruiting process and career opportunities, please visit our Careers Page.
Our team is as diverse and international as it gets—more than 40 people from over 15 nations, and 30 languages spoken. Get to know other cultures, while always feeling at home.
