The third webinar of the SimScale Consulting Partner Program introduces engineers, designers, and researchers to the expertise of our consulting partner, streamwise. They provide professional expertise in the field of fluid mechanics and thermodynamics and give you access more than 50 years of combined expertise in simulation, experimental validation, and practical engineering to solve your design and simulation problems.

During the 3D Online Flow Visualization and Validation Method webinar, participants will learn about a novel experimental method for flow validation and visualization, especially for external aerodynamics. With a very intuitive 3D online visualization method, experimental flow validation data can be obtained very quickly. Using standard CFD post-processing tools a comparison of simulation and experimental data can then be easily performed. Two case study examples will be used to illustrate and explain the setup and working of the method along with the numerical approach.

There is no prior knowledge or software required to join this free webinar. All participants will get free access to SimScale including all simulation features.

Why should you register?
• Learn about a novel experimental validation method for external aerodynamics.
• Understand the benefits and balance between experiments and numerical simulations.
• Find out about the SimScale Consulting Partner Program and the SimScale Platform.

About the Presenter

Benjamin holds a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Karlsruhe (Germany) and obtained his PhD in Fluid Mechanics at the ETH Zurich in 2003. He worked in several positions in industrial R&D and has a strong background in CFD. In 2014 he joined streamwise as Partner. Combining computational and experimental expertise related to fluid mechanics together with pragmatism and industrial project experience, streamwise provides innovation and problem-tailored advice.
